Advanced Placement and Honors Courses

The District offers a range of Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement courses for students. Our instructors receive ongoing training through College Board approved AP courses and institutes. Patterson’s Advanced Placement program offers students the opportunity to take college level courses and potentially receive college credit based on the Advanced Placement (AP) exam score. The decision to grant college credit is the determination of the specific college or university. Historically, a score of 3 or better qualifies a student for such consideration. Therefore, success on the AP exam is considered to be one measure of college readiness of our students. AP test results are evidence of the exceptional programming available to students at who seek this type of rigorous school experience. For additional information, click on the links below.
